I played 3 Card Poker, which is very similar to Vegas style. There are also dealers and they do all of the dealing, but they take chips from the 'designated player' to pay upon a win. They don't do anything except sit there and have the chips around them. I didn't quite understand the formalities of it, but basically there is a person (works for the house, contracted by the house, or something) who sits at 3rd base of every table and they are the 'designated player'. They looked like Vegas style games, but there were a few variations.Īpparently in Florida, you could play different variations of poker games, but with some changes. I walked past there to the Vegas style table games to play. Upstairs there was 6 or so tables of people playing Texas Hold 'Em. It had real dog racing as well as simulcasted racing, downstairs.
Was in town to visit family and I like to gamble a little bit, so I took a short ride over. Visited on a Tuesday afternoon to check out the poker room.
